
The Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Belgium has appealed to Belgian authorities regarding the announced participation of an artist from the Russian Federation in this year’s “Antwerp Museum Night.”
The Ukrainian diplomatic mission announced this on Facebook, as reported by Ukrinform.
The Embassy of Ukraine expresses concern that the “Antwerp Museum Night” program includes a performance by Daria Patrikeeva from Russia.
“At a time when Ukraine is defending itself against Russian military aggression, the participation of representatives of the aggressor state in significant public cultural events raises important ethical and societal concerns,” the diplomats emphasize.

The diplomatic mission urges the organizers to reconsider their decision in light of the humanitarian and ethical context created by Russian aggression against Ukraine.
